The Waist Belt & Lead is suitable for those that love to go running or jogging with their dog. It has reflecting piping and stripes for more safety, it is quick release due to buckle. The Lead has a hand loop, thus suitable for normal leading as well as using it as a hands free dog jogging lead. This lead is only recommended for small/medium, medium to large dogs. This lead has a bungee feature, for sudden jolts, we do not recommend this product for dogs that pull constantly, the bungee is for sudden shocks should you stop or your dog jolts suddenly.

I started jogging with my dog, initially holding his lead, with a view to getting into canicross eventually, but before spending loads of money on equipment wanted to be sure we both liked running together. Once I knew we both enjoyed it and wanted to carry on, I decided to buy a waist belt and lead so that I was tied up holding his lead when we ran, but didn't want to spend a fortune on one in the early days.

Looking around online some of the less expensive belts didn't look very good quality to me, eventually I decided on this one, and very glad I did!

It feels very substantial and solid, well made, and very good quality for the price.

Waist belt is adjustable, so you can adjust it to fit you.

The loop on the lead is very useful too, I often hold that when I feel like I want a bit more control over him, such as running past other dogs etc.

The belt is comfortable, nice and padded - I have found that wearing it on my waist gave me back ache (as doggy pulls when we run, and so he should) so I wear it lower round my hip/bum so that its not my back taking the strain and its very comfortable. Nice bungey section in the lead to soften the pulls, its a good length for us too, its not as long as some canicross leads I think, which is good for us as we do road running so I don't want too long a lead on him. But its still long enough that we both have plenty of room.

We have also now started trail running together and its been perfect for that too. Very pleased with this purchase, can recommend this belt for anyone wanting to run with their dog, but not wanting to spend a fortune on equipment.
